As tennis evolved from being a pastime of the wealthy, leisure classes to a physically demanding sport, so did tennis apparel. Unlike other sports – football basketball, etc. – tennis has no official uniform, thus allowing players to be creative with their clothing choices, and to “express ” themselves to some extent (like Bethanie Mattek-Sands).

Today, tennis apparel is not only more comfortable than ever before, but also more beautiful. The iconic names in sportswear like Nike, Adidas, and Wilson, are now competing with top fashion designers like Stella McCartney, and even former (yet very fashionable) tennis stars like Chris Evert for prime space in the major sportswear stores.

In this section, we’ll be bringing you the current trends as well as the classic styles that your fave players are wearing.
